Why is architecture special to you?
Architecture is special because it allows creativity and innovation while also pushing critical analysis. I almost immediately knew I wanted to do architecture when I started studio; even the other students are some of the brightest and most talented people I’ve met.
What do you hope to accomplish as an architect/designer in the future?
In the future, I hope to be able to advocate for underserved communities through both my work and my voice.
What is something you are looking forward to in design school this year?
This semester, I am looking forward to understanding how to further integrate a building into the surrounding landscape and culture.
“Rendering of my last final project, ‘Familiar Roots’, an open air market in Chicago, IL.”
